Raised in Tribute:
$165.00Dalen was the rock of our family. He was the provider and supporter. Always being there for his wife and children without any hesitation or judgment. He was a loving husband to Leona for 57 years. They had three children and four grandchildren. Dalen served his country by being in the Navy then went into civilian life as an electrician for 40 years. He was active with the Boy Scouts and a member of the Royal Order of the Moose, Monroe, WI. His hobbies included bowling, softball and golf. The purpose of his life was his family.
Dalen fought his disease for over 15 years. During some of those years he was also taking care for his wife who had dementia. Never once did he complain when the tremors started, stiffness occurred, he became unstable, was hospitalized, had mood changes or even when he could not communicate with his family as well as he used too. Early in his disease he decided not to go the surgical route maintaining that he led a good life and this was the hand he was dealt. His neurologist did everything to help Dalen lead a normal life for as long as he could. For that his family is grateful to Dr. Mark Lanser of Janesville, WI.
