Raised in Tribute:
$13450.00This page is in honor of John Macak, who is a loving husband, father and grandfather. Up until ten years ago, John was an active outdoors man and cyclist but then was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. His brother Bob is going to ride his bicycle from Seattle, Washington to Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to raise money for the Michael J. Fox Foundation in hope of finding a cure for this disease. Your donations and prayers will be greatly appreciated for John who lives with this disease and Bob for his cross country trip.
The Macak family has been moved by your donation and stories of family and friends who also have Parkinson's. If you would like to add a person to this page as a tribute, send Bob an email and we will add their name to this page. In addition, Bob will carry their names with him on his trip.
Thank you and God bless!
Tribute to Rick Malick, a retired Colonel from the air force flew an F-16 fighter. Rick's Parkinson's was caused by his flying support for the planes that were dropping agent orange during the Vietnam War. They have seen many pilots with the same condition. Please keep Rick, his family and our Vets in your prayers.
Bob will be riding for Martha Dillon, Randy Kline, Don Lang, Harry Gilbert, Jane Davis Joseph BurInski and all those who are stricken with this disease and for their caretakers who also need our support
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. The Foundation is the world's largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson's research, with more than $2 billion in high-impact research funded to date.
