Carolyn was my Mother In Law for 40 years and a wonderful one at that. She was also Grandmother to our three sons. I could not have asked for a better mother in law! She never interfered or judged anything we choose in our lives. Carolyn and Harry followed us from their home in Tennessee to be near us in NC. She was diagnosed with Parkinson's in her late 70's. She lived with it for 10 years until her death in May 2015. She handled this disease with grace and dignity never complaining why me. She died one month before her great grandson was born. My husband, Stan was her only child and retired to take care of his Mother the last six years of her life. She lost her husband, Stan's father right after we retired. In the end she was total care and in a nursing home. She will always be in our hearts and memories. We all love you Carolyn!!
