Nothing could have prepared us for the gaping hole that would be left in anyone’s heart from a passing away of a loved one. Growing up Gilgana (My Sister’s Mother In Law) was always the family’s biggest supporter and our biggest solace.

She taught me that nothing was impossible. There was so much to learn from your journey. Because of your persistence and strength, I’ll never forget your stories of all you endured. I’ll never forget the biggest advice you gave me through and through, ever since I was an adolescent to becoming a married woman and to becoming a mother. You always told me to do good and spread kindness everywhere.

Every year you came and celebrated the kid'ss birthday. From buying the cutest little toys to knitting the most beautiful dress. I saved everything you have ever given to me.

We will miss your stories of all the different kinds of experiences you went through.

May Allah SWT grant you the chance to be reunited with Shirinagha’s dad and your parents in Jannah. May Allah grant you and us all a chance to reunite in the highest ranks of Jannat Al Firdous.

Until then I will keep all of our memories alive. I will use all that you have taught me about spirituality, humility, and humanity to make the most of this fleeting life. I will be sure to share your autobiography with the world, so they too can know what an incredible mark you made on our family and our world. You made an impact on every single person you met, we will miss you. Not a day will ever pass where I won’t. I will continue to be resilient, from your example and for your legacy. Because I know that’s what you would have wanted.

O Allah, forgive her and elevate her station among those who are guided. Send her along the path of those who came before, and forgive us and her, O Lord of the worlds. Enlarge for her, her grave, and shed light upon her in it.

We created a tribute page in honor of Najiba Nayl, who had Parkinson's disease during the last decade of her life. With over 1 million people living in the United States with Parkinson's, our story is one of many. The Parkinson's Foundation works to make life better for those living with PD while supporting research toward a cure. Today, we are honoring Gilgana because she was an extraordinary person who has touched many lives. To celebrate the extraordinary life of this remarkable woman who devoted her life to her family. I had the privilege of spending time with her throughout my life and I will forever be thankful for that. She had a heart of gold and was there if anyone ever needed anything. Gilgana was an incredible Mother, Grandmother, and many more. She will be forever missed.
