Theresa Mahoney died on February 10, 2021 at the age of 73, after battling Parkinson's for 13 years. During these 13 years, along with the Parkinson's she developed orthostatic hypotension, neuropathy, gastroparesis and tinnitus. The combination of all these diseases was extremely painful and difficult to live with. She continued to fight and stay positive throughout this battle in order to create more memories with her family. Watching Theresa battle this disease for the past 13 years was heartbreaking. She was a beloved wife of the late Richard A. Mahoney. She was a devoted mother of Doreen McCartin and her husband Matt, Richard J. Mahoney and his wife Sandra. She was also a loving grandmother of Rachel, and Matthew McCartin, Maura Mahoney, and her dog Teddy. She was survived by many loving family and friends. She has now become an angel with her husband, parents, sister, and many other loved ones.
