$30.00Ronald G. Jewell, 75, of Yelm, died Oct. 19, 2015, at home with his family by his side, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.
Ron was born to the late Delmer and Clara Jewell, Jan. 25, 1940, in Yelm, Washington.
In 1958, he graduated from Yelm High School, where he loved playing football. He married the late Linda Jewell in 1970, and they lived together in Yelm for 30 years. Ron served in the Army from 1966-1969 and worked at English Steel Company before and after his service for a total of 35 years.
Ron is survived by 3 children: Christine Nolan, Ronnie Jewell, and Geoffrey Jewell. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren: Alyssa Nolan, Austin Jewell, Jacob Nolan, Kaitlyn Jewell, Craig Nolan, Clayton Jewell, and Kallie Jewell, 1 brother: Fred Jewell, and 4 sisters: Darlene Bamer, Joanne Abraham, Janet Smart, Diane Lester.
He will be remembered by family and friends as a loving father and papa. Thank you for always believing in us, encouraging us, and loving us even when we didn’t deserve it. We all love you more than you know.
