My Dad's nickname in high school was "The Professor." He was a brilliant and ethical guy. He never went to college but he was an Audio Engineer at The United Nations. My Dad loved his job at The United Nations. In his spare time he flew missions and did radio work for the Civil Air Patrol. He reached the level of full bird colonel. My Dad was the nerd who married the beautiful woman. My Mom and Dad were in love from the day they met until the day they each passed. My Dad started showing signs of PD in his 60s. I saw my brilliant Dad fall apart, both mentally and physically. He still managed to live his life with a quiet dignity. He passed away at 74, leaving a huge hole in my heart. I miss him every day.
