$457.50Diane Buxenbaum, 73, of Ronkonkoma LI, passed away on January 9, 2021, after a long struggle with Parkinson’s and numerous other ailments and complications. Diane faced her illnesses with remarkable resilience and a never faltering good nature. Diane, ever the romantic, enjoyed reading romance novels, and vacations, visits and outings with family and friends.
Diane was born to Mildred and John Imbesi on June 1, 1947, in Brooklyn, NY. Her school age years were spent on Long Island first in Elmont and then in Greenlawn. She was the loving middle child to her predeceased older brother Dennis and her younger surviving sister Cathy.
Soon after graduation Diane married her high school sweet heart, Mike Buxenbaum eventually settling in Ronkonkoma LI, and spent most of their 55 years there together raising their children Michael and Lori and loving their grandchildren Nicholas, Skylar and Mikey. Diane also leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her and appreciated her caring and kind ways.
