Carl Edward Eaton lost his eight year battle with Parkinson's on March 2, 2014. He worked hard all his life. He was a police officer for the Clinton Police Force in Clinton, SC For 26 years. After retirement, he found out he had Parkinson's. His wife Betty took care of him the whole time he was battling this, and she is a saint!! She took such good care of him.
Carl was a jokester. He would tell jokes off the top of his head, and we all just sat and laughed. We had a happy family. He was a good person. Would help anyone in any way he could. He used to tell us about his work as a policeman, and it intrigued me.
Carl served in the National Guards for 17 years. He was married to Betty for 5o plus years. They had one son, a granddaughter, several neices and nephews.
Carl was a very good person, and we will miss him dearly!!!
Hopefully, this disease will have a cure and people won't have to suffer with this debilitating disease!!!!
