Walter developed Parkinson disease about 7 years ago. Walter goes to Rock Study Boxing two days a week and this keeps him able to move easily. He retired from his law practice three years ago and keeps busy on the computer with chess and bridge exercises. Right now his shaking and tremors along with dry eyes and too bright of a light bother him. He quite being able to smell in his early 30's. Very easy to live with, seldom complains. We wish to honor Walter with our contribution to the Michael Fox Foundation.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. The Foundation is the world's largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson's research, with more than $2 billion in high-impact research funded to date.
