Obituary of Mary Dolores Gnat
Mary “Dolores” Gnat, nee Feehan, 88, passed away December 26, 2020. Beloved wife of Don E. Gnat of 65 years. A native of Cicero, IL, she was a retired accountant from McDonald’s Corporate and Regional offices for over 30 years. Dolores was a natural-born teacher for her family who was very proud of their many accomplishments. She was strong in her Catholic faith, and she was most happy when surrounded by family and friends. Dolores also used to put her heart, love, and care in the many projects for the family, like her quilts, crocheting, and needlepoint gifts.
Dolores is the loving mother of: Raymond (Joan), Mary Kathleen, Maggie, Harold (Ana), Gerald (Elizabeth), and Lorialice (Steven) Lusson; cherished grandmother of: Kathleen (Scott) Sluhoski, James, Derek, Devin, Jericka (Dan) Keyser, Ashleigh, Kyra, Eric, Lauren, Landon, Heather, Dylan, and McKenna; great-grandmother of Kally, Madison, Kaylyn, Nathan, Kinsley, Reagan, Peyton, and Elijah; dear sister of Anne (Jim) Gwyn; and fond aunt of many nieces and nephews, as well as many other extended family along with other hearts and lives she’s touched throughout her glorious years. She was preceded in death by her brother, John “Jack” (Kathleen) Feehan and her sister, Kathleen Feehan.
A private memorial will be held at a later date for immediate family.
