Raised in Tribute:
$1027.00Elizabeth “Betty” Anne Laudin passed away on December 21, 2020 after a two decade long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease. She faced life’s challenges with courage relative to her own infirmities and great compassion for all who crossed her path. She loved people, pets and food, in no particular order. She constantly surprised those who were close to her with her accomplishments. She spent 30-years at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital as a phlebotomist where she was loved by her patients for her cheery approach to a dreary task. As her PD became more pronounced her days at the hospital were numbered and she retired early this century. Despite the move out west in 2014, she remained loyal to her Boston teams, watching as many Bruin, Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics games as she could. Betty Anne was a 12th generation American, tracing her roots to the Mayflower and she was a Daughter of The Revolution. In her own inimitable way she was a strong, brave woman. Born December 12, 1946, she passed away at age 74 years, 9 days.
