Doris G. Wilson, 79, of Hamden, died June 8, 2018 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was the wife of Steven Wilson. Doris was born in Newark, NJ, Sept. 27, 1938, the daughter of Edward Brown and Goler Ellington and resided in Albany, NY and in Hamden the last 35 years. She was an administrator in the Planning and Zoning Dept. Town of Hamden, for 15 years, prior to retiring. She volunteered at the Barn Sale since 1992. She is survived by her two daughters, Toni Wilson King of Washington, DC and Kori Wilson Griffin of Brooklyn, NY, sons in law, Marc Griffin and Changa King, sister Nanette and grandchildren, Layla Griffin, Mari Griffin, Aiden and Wyatt King. She was pre-deceased by a brother Clifton, a sister Tina and a daughter Sylvia Wilson.
