Raised in Tribute:
$13896.00Dan lost his struggle with Parkinson’s the morning of November 20, 2020. He gave it the good fight until the end.
I miss my best friend and partner of 52 years. It's been a good life with it's ups and downs. I think the best years were our lives in San Francisco. Three decades there with accomplishments, friends, our wonderful house a half block from Mountain Lake Park. We were walking distance to the Presidio Golf Course where Dan loved to play with his many golf buddies. And best of all was our Lisa. It was pretty close to a perfect life.
Dan had a successful career in publishing and promotion. He loved his family, the St Louis Cardinals, golf (with 5 hole-in-ones to his credit), red wine, craft brewed ales, British pubs, bow ties, trains, cruise travel, classical music, magazines, newspapers, and German Shorthair Pointers.
He disliked laugh-tracks and the Beatles.
Dan was such a competitive guy in business and golf. Everyone loved his good humor and enjoyed his stories and banter.
He will be greatly missed. Friends and family have asked where they could give in Dan’s memory and I urge a donation to The Michael J Fox Foundation. They are dedicated to finding the cure for Parkinson’s by funding important research.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. The Foundation is the world's largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson's research, with more than $800 million in high-impact research funded to date.
