$763.60In her 78 years of life, Marilyn sparked joy and laughter in every human she crossed paths with. Aside from spending time with her family and friends, her favorite hobbies were shopping and eating out. She was a lover of all things contemporary, leaving her family with unique pieces of art and furniture to remember her by. In the early 2000s, Marilyn found out she had Parkinson's Disease. She found hope in Michael J. Fox's story and donated to his foundation several times a year. Marilyn never let Parkinson's stop her from being an amazing daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She was a fierce protector of all the people she loved. Marilyn passed away on April 30, 2020. Not a day goes by that we don't miss her.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. The Foundation is the world's largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson's research, with more than $800 million in high-impact research funded to date.
