John was full of life with many dear friends. He was a hard working man, being both a member of the US Navy and the Baltimore Police department throughout his life. He suffered with Parkinson's Disease for 16 years before this terrible condition affected his ability to fight any longer. In the early stages of the disease, John participated in several Michael J Fox research studies at the University of Maryland. These studies gave him hope for a cure and I believe he would agree a donation to this organization could make a difference.
