$253.00It is with great sadness that the family of Louis J. Kasmer (Lou) announced that he passed peacefully on November 1, 2020 in Plainfield, IN at the age of 71. Lou has been battling Parkinson's Disease since 2005. Ultimately, Parkinson's along with other medical issues was too much for him to fight anymore.
Lou is survived by his wife Donna Lee Kasmer (Balch), Scott C. Kasmer (Rebecca), and Sarah Junker (Erik). Grandchildren are Denver C. Kasmer, Austin L. Kasmer, Molly M. Junker, Kennedy M. Junker, Rayden G. Kasmer, and Ganen D. Kasmer. He is also survived by his Sister Judy Schmit (Dave) of Trinity, NC.
Lou was born on March 22, 1949 in Buffalo, NY to Louis and Viola Kasmer. He graduated from Canisius College in 1975 with a Masters degree in Business Management.
He loved music, playing the guitar, hunting, the Buffalo Sabres and the Buffalo Bills. Lou and his cousin Dave founded the Congenial Hunting Lodge which is still alive and well at the family property near North Java, NY.
Lou will be greatly missed by anyone who knew him. It was an honor to call him dad, papa, brother, cousin and friend.
