Roger was born in 1949, he worked for the police department in Manchester, NH. He was a very dedicated man.
Dedicated to his wife, daughter and grandchildren. He loved to fish, bowl, play cards and work around his home.
He loved helping people. After graduation he joined the marines. After being discharged he returned to the Manchester Police Dept. Roger was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa, a hereditary eye condition that would cause him blindness. After his retirement, he did volunteer work. He volunteered to meals on wheels, and loved helping fellow veterans. He would search for apartments for homeless vets, searched for furniture donations to help those veteran set up their apartments. Roger was diagnosed with Parkinsons 13 years ago. In the last few years of his life his eye disease did finally blind him. In the last 3 years of his Parkisonism he became very ill. His body tremors became severe, difficulty in catching his breath to speak, and then difficulty swallowing, and choking. He lost a lot of weight. And then he began to fall. One of his falls caused a bone fracture in his spine. All that could be done was to keep him comfortable. He will be sorely missed by all whos lives he touched. I will always remember his strength in fighting this horrible disease and the independence he maintained while being blind . He was fighter and never complained. I love you Roger and now that you are an angel you and other Parkinson angels can help find a cure for this terrible disease
