$1851.00Hope Ann Hollub Cain, 71, of Deer Park, Texas, passed away on October 9th, 2020 after a long battle with Parkinson’s. She was born in Pasadena, Texas to the parents of “Sonny” and Hope Hollub. She was married to Thomas Cain for 51 years. She worked as part owner of the family business, Modern Plumbing.
Hope grew up in Deepwater, Texas and on the family farm in Smithville, Texas. Hope shared her life with husband Thomas, her high school sweetheart. She loved her two sons, Casey and Clint, was passionate about their wellbeing through childhood and molded their view of strong women as they grew older. She was elated to welcome two daughter-in-laws and become “Nanny” to three grandchildren. Hope was the oldest of a sister and two brothers, was surrounded by sister- and brother-in-laws, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was ahead of her time as a professional softball player and was instrumental in the family business. Hope was a fierce defender of her family and friends.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Thomas Cain of Deer Park, Texas and parents “Sonny” and Hope Hollub of Smithville, Texas.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in- law Casey and Andrea Cain of Dallas, Texas, her son and daughter-in-law Clint and Lynda Cain of Magnolia, Texas, and grandchildren Kaylee, Ashlee and Ethan, her sister Kay and Jack Reeves of Georgetown, Texas, her brother Eddie Hollub and Kristen Moore of Friendswood, Texas and her brother Albert and Jodie Hollub of Deer Park, Texas.
