$2981.50Beloved husband of the late Charlotte (nee Panell); father of Barry (Raenette) and Tammy Georgiadis (Nick); grandfather of Benjamin, Jordan and Jacob Sanders and Abby and Sophie Georgiadis; son of the late John and Donna Sanders; brother of the late Billy and Ronnie; uncle and friend of many. Bobby was truly the patriarch of his family and loved by all. Bobby was hired to work at NASA in 1963 during the Apollo program, but spent most of his career working on supersonic aircraft engine research and development. He was considered one of the leading experts in this field in the United States, because of his expertise and many innovations. Bobby retired from NASA in 1996 after 33 years, and then started Techland Research Inc. where he spent more than 20 years continuing to make major contributions to advanced supersonic aircraft technology. His engineering legacy will live on through his aerodynamic innovations and through the many researchers he mentored over the years, especially at NASA. His family is proud of his many years of service to NASA and to the United States of America. He passed away August. 29, 2020.
