Raised in Tribute:
$257.50Judith had a tough the past few years - onset Parkinson’s and more recently, esophageal cancer. Yet through it all, she remained true to who she was - fiercely determined and strong willed, demanding and uncompromising. In short, Mom was Mom till the end.
Judy was born in October 1924 in Brooklyn, New York and raised by her parents, Benjamin and Yettie aka Etta, along with her brother, Stanley.
In 1949, she met Bill, an unemployed accountant who asked her to a local dance … and the rest is history. They married in 1950, soon after moved to Morristown, NJ, where they planted roots and raised their three sons. In the years after Bill’s passing in 1998, she maintained her connections with her friends and family in both Morristown and Florida, where she had a winter residence. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
In her last few years, her desire to stay in her own home - no nursing or long term care facility, thank god - and to keep things exactly as they always had been - was her only real wish. As a family we made every effort to honor it by keeping her in her home with all her belongings.
Rest in peace knowing that we love you, and we will always remember.
