Very early in the morning, on June 10, 2015, Pete Kimball won his battle against Parkinson's, and took his first breath in Heaven. Pete and his family fought Parkinson's to the very end, and finally overcame its clutch.

Pete was an avid athlete most of his life. His passion was cycling, which he took up in his late 20s, but competed semi-professionally through his 30's and 40's. His other passion was fast boats. He loved to build them, drive them, race them, even polish them! He was an amazing water skier from his youth and until the grasp of Parkinson's prevented him from participating in the things he loved. Pete just loved to stay busy.... He always had to be working on something productive (or what he thought was productive, sometimes to the dismay of his loving wife, Donna!). He could build, fix, and soup-up just about anything... from go-fast boats, to golf carts to lawn mowers! Those hands were never idle.

What made Pete unique, and what will surely be remembered by all, was Pete's positive attitude and sense of humor. You could count on him to have a half dozen jokes lined up in his head each and every time you saw him. Sometimes you may have heard the same joke two or three... or ten times, but it was always funny, and brought incredible joy to Pete to tell. With Pete, the glass was always half-full, and that was a part of his fight. He was never going to let Parkinson's have his life.

Pete will be remembered with love by the many, many people whose lives he touched. His wife, Donna, brought him more joy that can be imagined, and she will miss him profoundly. His daughters, Susie and Kathy, treasured every minute with their remarkable dad. His grandchildren, Christa and Danielle, loved their Grampy with all their hearts. Pete's brother, Dave, impacted his life in ways that will never be forgotten. It is with deep respect, amazing love, and sadness that we offer this tribute to the Amazing Peter Miles Kimball.
