My family and I knew this man as a neighbor and friend for over 20 years. He was a very kind, gentle and loving man. His wife and I and family had many fun adventures over the years. He was always one to lend a hand, or a suggestion or just a smile.
Arnie welcomed my friendship with his wife, loved having my daughter over to play and enjoyed watching them come to my home often. His children were the "sisters" of my daughter. They went to school together, came to help us out when her mother and I went into business and were always a pleasure.
He was a very intelligent man, set up his own successful business and taught his daughters the value of hard work. At the same time he showed them much love and security and told them frequently how much he loved them. He loved his wife as she did him and valued her insight as well as her own hard work ethnic.
It is often true that the quietest of people show their value in what is left unsaid. The example shows the quality of the person. Not one to boast or brag, Arnie delighted in his own good fortune and those of his friends and familiy.
It is my wish that all of those who loved him have been left better humans because of him. I and my daughter will miss him.
