Michael is an amazing husband and father. For years he worked several jobs at once to provide for our family and the lifestyle we chose. He was supportive of homeschooling our children for several years and even assigned himself the title of "principal." All of our children would say that he always had time to play with them. I remember him coming home -after driving an hour each way and being gone for more than 12 hours- and still having the stamina to play catch, whiffle ball or frisbee with our three children. When the stiffness and pain became an issue for him in his early 40's he fought back by getting up every single morning and walking at 5 or 5:15am. I joined him each day to support his attempt to fight back against the symptoms that baffled the doctors. Throughout this time he would become discouraged and pick himself back up and carry on. I so admire his strength and courage throughout our marriage. He has always been the love of my life and my best friend. We will face whatever life hands out to us together.
