Raised in Tribute:
$5641.50 Mayron Thomas Cain life was spent devoted to his wife, Hope, his high school sweetheart. They were married 51 years at the time of his death. He spent his last few years caring for her as she battled Parkinson's disease. A battle that still continues. Nothing would honor his life of dedication and service to his family, more than to contribute to research that provides more time for loved ones to be together.
Thomas Cain was a good man. He not only was a good man, but raised two boys, Casey and Clint to carry on that legacy of being good men. He was a dedicated father throughout their childhood which later grew into friendship as they began to grow their families.
Thomas was also proud of his Texas roots and was almost always seen with his signature mustache and cowboy boots. He grew up part of one of the first established families in Deer Park, Texas. He supported his community, his family and most importantly, his love-his wife.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. The Foundation is the world's largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson's research, with more than $800 million in high-impact research funded to date.
