Dennis Dean Mahood Sr. age 68 of Moody Texas passed away at his residence on Monday, June 1, 2015. He bravely fought a 30 year battle with Parkinson's Disease. He was born in Canton, Pennsylvania on June 29, 1946 to Terrance Dean and Eloise (Wood) Mahood.
Dennis married Kathie L. Van Tuyl on August 10, 1973 at the First Baptist Church in Elmira, N.Y. He graduated from Troy High School in Troy Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of Elmira College in Elmira New York. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy (CBees) during Vietnam. He worked many years for the Office Of Inspector General Audit department. He lived in the Temple Texas area for 35 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents Terrance and Eloise Mahood.
He is survived by his wife Kathie Mahood, daughter Marcia Mahood Gates, sons David Mahood, Dennis Mahood Jr. and his sisters Terranita (Terry) Mahood and Joyce Mahood Dyess. He had 9 grandchildren and nieces and nephews that loved him dearly!
