Raised in Tribute:
$206.65My mother, Elizabeth “Ann” Coleman went Home to be with Jesus on April 22, 2020 from complications due to Parkinson’s Disease.
She was born on January 26, 1941 in Wolfe City, Texas. Ann graduated from Commerce High School in 1958 where she was a competitive tennis player. She earned an academic scholarship to East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas. After college, she moved to Dallas to begin her 40-year career with the Southern Baptist Annuity Board / Guidestone. Ann loved the Lord and served in many areas of their church. She was an accomplished tennis player, playing competitively for over 60 years. She also played golf, softball, and enjoyed bowling. She loved traveling and participated in a few mission trips with her church.
Ann was known for being a very smart leader with a quick sense of humor and a little Southern sass. She was an extremely loving and supportive wife, mother, Nana, and friend. She will be missed greatly by many, but we rejoice knowing that she is made whole and alive in her heavenly Home and we have hope that we will see her again one day.
Mom’s life verse is Psalm 61:1-2 “Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”
Love you mom! You are greatly missed and cherished always.
