Raised in Tribute:
$877606.00Shirley was born December 2, 1938. She was raised in Ohio by her parents Ted and Laura Stock. She had one sister, Donna who resides in Ohio.
Shirley was married to the love of her life, Bill. They were married 59 years (just six months shy of their 60th wedding anniversary) before she passed away on February 23, 2019. Shirley and Bill left Ohio and relocated to California. She spent their early years raising their children and their later years traveling and enjoying life once Bill retired. They have three grown children: Sherri (husband Bruce), Sue (husband Ken) and Steve (wife Liz). Shirley dedicated her life to being a wonderful, caring, kind and supportive wife, sister, mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren (Tyler, Delaney, Aubrey, Nicholas, Alexis, Christian and Madison) were her greatest pride & joy.
She had many close friends in her life time. Shirley was so friendly. She enjoyed talking to people, even complete strangers. She had an infectious smile and laugh. Shirley loved going to Polka dances, traveling with Bill and their friends and spending time with family. When her sister Donna would visit they would make a trip to Laughlin and gamble and see shows.
She was an active bowler, tennis player and golfer before getting sick. She coached sports and went to her children and grandchildren's sporting events. She was an avid Lakers and Angels fan. Her family swore she knew as much about the Lakers and Angels as the sportscasters!
Shirley was diagnosed with Parkinson's in her late 70's. She handled her diagnosis with dignity. Unfortunately she also got dementia which changed her beautiful mind & soul.
Her entire family feels so blessed to have loved and been loved by her. Her memory will forever stay in our hearts.
