Judy Ann Swindal born March 12, 1943 in Purdon Texas died in Plano, Texas at the age of 77 on January 29, 2020 from Parkinson’s disease. She was a loving mom, a special Nana, a devoted friend, a caring member of her family, a matriarch, a single mother, and a thoughtful host. She grew up a farm girl and lived a dream life that took her further than she ever dreamed. Her fight with Parkinson's was short and difficult. We watched our beautiful mom, nana, and friend suffer through all the phases of this dreadful disease. We hope this helps find a cure and or advance the treatment.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. The Foundation is the world's largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson's research, with more than $800 million in high-impact research funded to date.
