My father, Darrel Rutherford, Sr. was a fun loving and caring person. He had a true love for music. In his retirement years, he formed a band called "The Three Old Men" and they played at the local senior centers, churches and other events. Until one day, he was walking and his foot would not move. Over the next 7 years, he went from being a strong active man to not even being able to move. I watch him as Parkinsons slowly took his ability to play a guitar and do the things he loved to do. He passed away on January 30, 2020 and is now in a blue grass band in Heaven!
