My sweet mother died from Parkinson's disease August 7 2013 . She was 82 years old and we watched this disease take a strong determined mother, grandmother , sister and wife . We are an extremely close family and we were there for mom every day that this disease took another part of my mother from us. She was brave and strong and we would witness her come up with ways to communicate with us, try to walk, try to laugh and and just keep hanging in there. We knew there were days when she just needed to sleep because it was exhausting for her. She knew this disease was wearing her down and we know that we are blessed to have had so much time with her. My mom would want us all to fight hard to find a cure. She wouldn't want her four kids or five grandchildren to ever have to experience this disease. We remember Angie every day of our lives and especially on Mother's Day we remember my mom for her generosity, her love, her wisdom and her bravery. We miss you!
