Raised in Tribute:
$276.50Roger Fair, born in October 1939, is a loving husband, father, and grandfather fighting Parkinson's disease. Although born and raised in Paterson, NJ, he spent most of his early years helping his father build a home in rural NJ. Roger is an Army veteran who served during the Vietnam war. Prior to being diagnosed, Roger enjoyed sailing on his boat, bodybuilding, and collecting classic cars. Roger owned a few of his own businesses before settling down and having children. He now has 2 daughters (both married), a son, and a grandson.
8 years ago, Roger was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease which has since affected his every day life, from walking to handwriting. While the disease has affected him physically, he remains positive and hopeful that there will someday be a cure. Sadly, Parkinson's has limited his independent mobility making it difficult to leave the house often. At times, it can feel as though he is suffering with Parkinson's alone. As a family, we want to reassure him that we are all in this together and that there is love and support all around him.
For Christmas, we ask that you consider donating to the The Michael J. Fox Foundation on Roger's behalf or sign the guest book with well wishes and holiday greetings.
We love you Dad!
