Raised in Tribute:
$6507.00The Michael J. Fox Foundation mourns the passing and celebrates the life of Marjorie Sherer ? grandmother, wife, kind friend and beloved mother of the Foundation's CEO, Todd Sherer, PhD, and his brother, Brian. While Marjorie did not have Parkinson's disease, she was fiercely proud of Todd's role in architecting the Foundation's urgent approach to speeding breakthrough treatments and a cure.
With this tribute page, we invite those who knew Marjorie to share favorite stories and memories of all the ways she enriched the lives of those around her.
On this page you also may honor Marjorie's legacy by supporting The Michael J. Fox Foundation's mission to end Parkinson's. Every person and family affected by this disease knows the same impatience for a cure. But we can take heart in the tremendous progress that has unfolded since the Foundation opened its doors. Those diagnosed today have every reason to look to the future with hope.
The Foundation believes we are closer than ever to improved treatments. Please consider joining us in supporting a cause dear to Marjorie ? in loving memory of her and in honor of the five million living with Parkinson's worldwide.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. The Foundation is the world's largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson's research, with more than $2 billion in high-impact research funded to date.
