Joo Sang Lee was born on July 25, 1949 in Gongju, Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea and passed away on November 10, 2019. He is survived by his wife, Jong Lee, his sons, Jin Woo Lee and Jin Young Lee, his daughters-in-law, Hwa K. Lee and Sarah Bang Lee, and his grandson, Wayne Bang Lee.


Many of you who are visiting this page are likely doing so because you are friends with and/or work with Joo Sang’s youngest son, Jin Young. Those who know Jin, know him as someone who values his family and his friendships above all else. You know him as someone who embodies integrity, honesty, hard work, and respect. These are all qualities that Jin learned in large part from his father, who he saw model them everyday. It is in this way that Joo Sang Lee’s legacy will live on; carried forward by those who knew and loved him best, and by those of us whose lives have been touched by his loved ones. May we all strive to live up to the example he set.
