This is my dad, Justin Baca. I'm not sure what to say except that we lost him last Sunday, March 9. Dad was an amazing man...I can't tell you how much love this guy shared, and the impact he had on his community, family, and everyone who knew him. Dad was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease around 10 years ago, I suppose. All I know is that I watched my dad slowly lose his independence and lose his freedom to move the way he always had. Dad was a dedicated walker and would get up in the morning and walk for an hour...come rain or shine. I hope that anyone who knew him and visits this page will consider donating to this foundation for research into a cure for Parkinson's disease. ..And thanks to you Michael for bringing more awareness to the world, and I hope in my lifetime I will see the cure.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today.
