William C. "Sonny" Bradham, Jr blessed our community his entire 67 years. For over 30 years, he gave Parkinson's Disease one heck of a fight, he passed peacefully at home, the way he wanted. Sonny was the most kind-hearted, giving, helpful, and loving person, always willing to help anyone with just about anything. He loved working in his shop, he was a jack of all trades and a master of most of it. He spent 31 years at TDCJ, most of which as a lieutenant at the Diagnostic/Byrd Unit running the Records Office. He started working for them when he was 19, allowing him an early retirement, so he was able to enjoy many, many years of piddling in his shop everyday, which was always his passion.
Sonny was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend you could always count on. He was a very calm, calculated man with a heart of gold, always getting things done right the first time and giving you the shoes off his feet when the job was done, if you needed them.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 32 years, Linda Bradham, and his parents Curtis and Gertrude Bradham.
He is survived by his son, John Bradham, daughter, Tonya Laird, brother, David Bradham, grandchildren Jayden Bradham, Roman Erhard III, Adrienne Westbrook, Skyla Erhard, Alex Kincaide, and great-grandchildren Luna, Griffin, Lavender & Sawyer.
