Raised in Tribute:
$36.05Robert Ryan was one of the kindest, most supportive people I have ever known. He was also my father. Robert was not diagnosed with Parkinson’s until about 1 1/2 years ago, but lived with the symptoms, undiagnosed, for many years before that. He passed from this world on June 5, 2019.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Robert lived in Burbank, Illinois for over 60 years, raising two children, Kathleen and Daniel with his wife of 58 years, Elaine, who died in early 2015. Robert worked at GATX in Summit, Illinois for over 45 years. He served in the US Army during the Korean War (1953 to 1955). Robert was an avid Hockey and Baseball fan, his favorite teams being the Black Hawks and White Sox. He loved Rock and Roll Music and watching Horror movies.
Robert is mourned by many family members and friends.
