Raised in Tribute:
$625.00Margaret Mandracchia slipped peacefully into eternal rest at home with her family on May 4th, 2019. She was 89 years old. Margaret was diagnosed with Parkinson's within the past 4 years, not long after her beloved husband of almost 60 years, Michael Mandracchia, passed away from heart failure. It was a quick deterioration, but her family is thankful that she did not suffer long from this illness.
Margaret had a passion for sewing and worked as a seamstress in Queens, NY for many years. After moving back to Skillman, NJ, where she grew up, she dedicated her life to being a proud homemaker and mother. She tended to her son Michael Jr. and spent a lot of time cooking and gardening. She was able to spend the last few years of her life enjoying time with her granddaughter, Clover.
This tribute is in memory of an incredible and strong woman, wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. We hope that one day a cure will be found for Parkinson's so that people do not have to suffer from such a cruel disease.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. The Foundation is the world's largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson's research, with more than $800 million in high-impact research funded to date.
