David was my "Soul Mate' from the beginning. I was 15 years old and he was 17 years old. Basketball, cheerleader love story. We celebrated 50 years of marriage the year he passed away on December 26, (our youngest granddaughter's birthday) 2016. He had Parkinsons for 13 years. When he went to the doctor for knee surgery, the doctor said he had Parkinsons. He ran with the Olympic torch in Tucson, Az in the year he was diagnosed. Our daughter, Heather, nominated him because he was always there for his children and grandchildren. We have two children, Heath, Heather; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter of this writing. He loved sports of all kinds. He worked for Northwest Airlines for 32 years as a ticket agent. He drove from Tucson to Phoenix for 10 years. His love was his family and taking care of them in any capacity. A hole in heart will never go away for my "Soul Mate".
