Raised in Tribute:
$798.10Hi there, my name is Stephen Wax and David Wax is my father.
David Wax has Parkinson's and has had it for approximately 10 years. David, father of two boys: Daniel & Stephen, is still happily married to our mother Gail. They have been together for almost 42 years! David retired in 2013 and spends his days watching tv series with my mother, collecting "various things" for his multiple hobbies, and entertaining the newest addition to our family: Miss Violet, the Siberian masquerade kitten. This soon to be grandfather (shout out to Dan & Alice) even exercises from time to time on a recumbent bike in our basement while listening to his favourite rock songs!
That said, it's not all fun and games for David. Living with Parkinson's has not been an easy task for my 67 year old father. The impact Parkinson's has had on his physical wellbeing and daily routine is devastating for our family to witness. Without going into too much detail, simply put, Parkinson's has prevented him from living his life to the fullest.
Parkinson's also runs in our family, as my grandmother had it. For past generations, present generations, and future generations this tribute page has been setup to help raise awareness for Parkinson's. We hope to one day find a cure and we are so thankful for any donations that may help fund the cure.
Thank you.
