Watching my dad suffer with this HORRENDOUS disease was traumatic. Although strides have been made I keep praying for a cure. In the meantime instead of those awful memories of his suffering, I remember these wonderful things about my dad. He was a proud graduate of Suffolk University, a basketball scholarship recipient, member of the E Club of Everett. and office manager of Brush Hill Tours. He was loved and respected by all who knew him. He was a generous and humble man. Sal was honest, sincere and kind in all his words and deeds,.a perfect role model who was often called on for advice from family members, friends and colleagues. My dad taught us all how to persevere, how to play the card that's dealt to you, and to stay positive even when facing life's greatest challenges. He had a delightful sense of humor and was a pillar of integrity. He delighted in spending time with his family and treasured his time with his two lovely granddaughters. Sal had a passion for sports, both as an accomplished athlete and spectator! He also loved old western movies. He left a positive impact on all who knew him. He inspired many with his courage and determination in his fight against Parkinson's disease. Sal is remembered fondly and greatly missed!!
