Wilmith Kay Terbieten, known as "Kay", was a gentle soul that lived with Parkinson's for over five years and finally succumbed to its challenges on November 26, only eleven days before her 77th Birthday. She endured the crippling effects of Parkinson's with dignity and grace, long after these had been taken from her physical body. We often joked about her hard head for she was still committed to doing things independently that often seemed impossible for her, but with time and tenacity, she would indeed complete.

Kay was born in California, grew up in Arkansas and raised three lovely children in Houston, Texas and then Bethany, Missouri where 25 years were committed to Gumdrop Books helping manage customer service and sales. She resided in Baton Rouge, LA at her time of passing.

She leaves behind two daughters, one son and daughter-in-law, three grandsons, one granddaughter and too many grand and great grandcritters to name.
She was a sweet and caring person that will be deeply missed by many.

Please consider contributing to the Michael J Fox Foundation to help research and find a cure for Parkinson's. Although, her Parkinson's was too progressed, she appreciated their aggressive efforts to find a cure and ways to manage. Thank you, Michael J. Fox, for taking a debilitating disease and giving a voice.
