Raised in Tribute:
$150.00Janet Pardonner
January 9, 1942 - October 9, 2018
Janet loved to worship & dance. Spirituality was at the center of who she was and how she lived, always listening for the voice of God amidst the circumstances and chaos at times. She would rise early and read devotions, sometimes for hours, before anyone else in the house was up.
She had a soft heart that worked for healing & reconciliation with God and with each other. Her devotion to marriage ministries & prison fellowship throughout her adult life were expressions of this passion.
Janet overcame many difficult challenges throughout her life and showed true grit with much more fighter spirit than her 5 foot 1 inch frame let on; overcoming breast cancer twice and living with Parkinson's disease for over 30 years after being diagnosed at age 45.
Her flare for colors was seen in her paintings and outfits, which she took great pleasure in picking out and wearing throughout her entire life.
Janet married young, age 20, to David Pardonner, age 19, and they spent 51 very active years together until Dave passed in 2013 from metastasized bladder cancer.
Janet is survived by two children, Steve and Jeff, ten grandchildren and her sister, Shirley.
We celebrate her life and will think of her often.
