$700.00James Williams, 76, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018. Jim lived his life with Parkinsons Disease for more than 15 years, making each day the best he could with a smile on his face and words of encouragement and support for everyone he encountered.
Jim was one of 8 children. He was born on April 12, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan to the late John and Genevieve (Galen) Williams.
He attended Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic School in Farmington, Michigan and upon graduation served in the army. He earned a degree in Systems Engineering from Oakland University and a Masters in Business Administration from Walsh College.
Jim was passionate about skiing and golf and shared his passion with his family and friends. He served on the Michigan Ski Patrol for many years. He had a very successful career at General Motors, Electronic Data Systems, and Logica, and served as Dean of Business and Culinary Arts at Macomb Community College before retiring.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnne, his children, Jonathan (Angela) Williams, Brent (Katie) Williams, Erica (Andrew) Douglas, 6 grandchildren, and a large extended family.
