Frank, was born in Detroit, Michigan and moved to California with his family when he was ten. He married his wife Ann Marie Del Franco in 1960 and had two sons, Frank Jr and Thomas. In 1968, as a young family they moved to Torrance, CA. Frank loved to coach the boys in soccer and baseball, when they were young and was an avid fan on the sidelines as they grew older. As the boys grew up and had families of their own, Frank was blessed with four grandchildren and one great grandson. Frank was a constant fan on the sidelines and in the audience of whatever sport or activity his grandchildren were participating in. Frank and Ann had many friends that they spent time with in Palm Desert and traveling the world. His family and friends meant the world to him.

Frank lived in Torrance, CA for 50 years. He was an accomplished manufacturers representative in the optical industry and earned many awards for “Salesman of the Year”, as well as the Goodfellow Award. He started in the optical industry while in high school and retired in 2012. He loved his job and the people in the industry.

It was very difficult to watch the man, who was our pillar of strength, maneuver and try to manage his disease. The past few years took a great toll on his body and mind. It broke our hearts seeing him struggle with day to day living. His love for his grandchildren, gave him the strength and determination to make it to his granddaughters wedding, where he danced to his favorite Neil Diamond song less than two weeks before he passed. His family and friends were touched and grateful to watch him sway to the music.

His family loves him tremendously and we will always keep his laughter and kindness close to our hearts forever. Our wish is to help find a cure for Parkinson's Disease and minimize the heartbreak that this disease can create. It will take time to find a cure, but without the research, there is no hope. Every little bit counts, we appreciate your help in donating to Michael J Fox Foundation to expand research of Parkinson's disease as a tribute to Frank.
