Douglas Russell courageously battled Parkinson's Disease for more than six years. His 75 years of life created a huge impact on this world. To his loving wife, Doug was her consummate partner for more than 51 years of marriage. To his three children, Dad was a rock and helping hand. To his seven grandchildren, Buppy was a dedicated and an incredibly proud grandpa. To his countless students over his thirty-five-career in public schools, Mr. Russell was a model educator who deeply cared about his school and those who filled it.
